Amber has a crush on her boss, Bradley, the wealthy son of a family who owns an oil company. He seems so far above her and they haven't even spoken once, but for Amber it was love at first sight. One day there's an emergency and Bradley asks Amber to drive him to the hospital. His grandmother, the chairman of the board, is in critical condition. Amber waits for him in the hospital corridor, and when he emerges from the ICU his face is pale, and he asks her, "For my grandmother's sake, will you be my fiancée?"

It's an unlikely romance of a boss meeting a secretary but with a twist. Heroine has a dream and working part time to achieve it. Hero doesn't get along with his dad, loves his grandma and tried to do everything to care for her. Stage one is the fake fiancée, stage two is the very real engagement and finally the very real marriage pushed along because of the grandma. Hero thinks he has a curse on his head of sorts and feels he will hurt the heroine, while she falls more and more in love with him. Till finally they sort out misunderstandings and start of fresh and in love. It is a sweet story, the characters (there are so many) that it's exciting and too much at the same time. It is a little difficult to believe that the heroine loves the hero at the get go, but at least her love developed more. The hero's love just seemed to kinda just happen. But anyway, sweet story, fun and exciting characters.
