On His Honor
When Serena’s cousin Dawn suddenly passes away, she steels herself to take in Dawn’s daughter, Louisa. Dawn’s husband, Carlo, is wealthy but coldhearted; the two were about to get a divorce. When Serena declares that she’ll never relinquish Louisa to Carlo, he threatens her: “This is a crime!” Yes, Carlo was her cousin’s husband, but Serena can’t stop her pulse from racing whenever she sees him. However, she must shut down those feelings as she knows just how terribly he treated Dawn!

- Makes me want to read the novel 5

This story is about a young woman named Serena who has taken in her cousin's daughter, Louisa after her mother dies. But then you have the father who wants to get his daughter back after so many years of not being there for her. Seeing both sides of Serena and Carlo is really interesting. Lots of misunderstandings all throughout the story from the day they met 5 years ago to when they meet again and fight over who Louisa stays with from now in. Anyone who knows a good harlequin knows what this leads to. It's definitely a story worth paying for. The way the story was portrayed in the manga, I really felt like it wasn't rushed and had a great flow of events. Definitely want to read the book since there were obviously scenes missing. Always love Lucy Gordon harlequins. One of my favorite romance novelists since I first discovered romance books.
