Her Unexpected Baby
Dana and Adam are constantly at each other at Donovan and Lewis Design Studio, but with him being a ladies' man and her a single mother, it's to be expected. When Adam offers to be Dana's date to a reunion to show up her ex and the father of her daughter, a night of work becomes dangerously mixed with pleasure. Soon, the pair bounce from bickering at each other to Adam helping out Dana, whether it be fixing her roof or fixing her heart. Why are they so sweet together now? Could it be because of her unexpected baby?

I don't understand why anyone would give this story a one star. It was great. We have a heroine, who is divorced from a creep of a husband with a daughter. The hero is a great and nice guy. The heroine and the hero spend one night and she gets pregnant and the hero wants to be involved. Yet, the amazing thing is that he's not just interested in paying child support but being there for the heroine and her family. He is there to help with the chores around the house. He spends personal time with the heroine's daughter, being a father figure. Which is more than I can say for her rich dead-beat of a father. Plus, he tries to respect the wishes of the heroine. We learn why the heroine is so afraid of the pregnancy and the possibility that the hero will hurt is because of her creep ex. Apparently, after her daughter, she had two miscarriages and both times, the husband didn't comfort her. He gave her some money and told her to go buy something. I couldn't believe it. I also like how the heroine was strong in the face of her ex ideas of money solving everything. I mean the man gave his daughter a check to buy herself something for her birthday. He couldn't take the time to find a doll or stuffed animal? Then the hero comes in with a adorable puppy for the daughter with a hidden meaning ( nothing bad). The story is basically sweet because a couple if bonding with the thread that there is going to be a baby and the daughter of the heroine is included and the hero makes sure of it. That I what I love.
