A small hotel on the New Hampshire coast is barely managing to stay in the black, so the manager’s niece, Cassie, concocts a ghost story with the aim of luring curious guests. Their first visitor is a handsome young man named Dan. Cassie is undeniably attracted to him, but he seems wrapped up in more mysteries than she can count. Later, after more ghost-happy guests flood the hotel, uncanny incidents begin to happen…and they seem to be concentrated around Dan. Even as the intrigue around him intensifies, Cassie realizes she’s falling harder for Dan by the minute.

This could be the most different story in all of the Harlequin stories I've read. Hero went to stay in a hotel and there he met heroine, who was helping her aunt in the hotel. And there's a rumor that a ghost is in the hotel. And of course hero and heroine saw it. When hero and heroine fell in love with each other, hero told heroine about himself that he is actually a journalist and someone is trying to kill him. When they saved themselves the assassin appeared, and also the ghost of the hotel did. This is though a love story but also about adventure and paranormal, and it is very interesting.
