This is one of those titles that felt like it would typical but ended up being quite a touching story. Connor left Lucy broken hearted 2 years ago, unknowing shes pregnant. Years later he returns demanding rights for his daughter. She didnt trust him. And honestly, you couldnt blame her. She was jaded from how he treated her. IN the earlier course of their reunion, no words of love reciprocated was mentioned. I like that Lucy pushed him away when he tried to kiss her at first. It always annoy me when in similar stories, the guy returns and the woman couldnt resist the guy forgetting everything he's done. So for me that was quite nice. She gained my respect. I like her frame of mind and how once she realize it was for Isabel's welfare, she was willing to set aside her own needs and give Connor a chance. All those side door eavesdrop was so misleading. I guess cant blame her for assuming. but anyways, all the instances of how Connor how much he loved Isabel, and his concern for children is just so touching. The last 6 pages were the best.
