A Matter of Honour
Cassandra was twelve years old when she first met Vincent, and still remembers the dashing older boy that helped her and her kitten down from a tree. Eight years later, Vincent pledges to honor his dying friend’s last wish—for Vincent to marry his sister…Cassandra! Curious about the woman that the little girl he once knew has grown up to be, Vincent invites Cassandra to his house to get to know his would-be bride…all over again.

I loved Cassie and Vincent. Both were compassionate, kind, and trying to think of each other's best interests. Vincent is trying to do the right thing by marrying his best friend's sister but he actually in love with her. He blames himself for the death of her brother, even though that's not true and he has always come to her rescue. You could say that he's a shining knight in armor. He is brave enough to risk his life when he believes that she was assaulted by own of his own friends ( not true) and that is cool. Cassie is one of those sweet things. She is kind to many like nursing a gypsy girl and Vincent's mother back to health. She doesn't attack or scream at Vincent when he tells her that he killed her brother. A very forgiving woman. Lastly, she is brave because when she hears about the duel, she races off on a horse to stop the duel herself because she doesn't want to lose Vincent. It's one of those cute stories.
