THE PLAYBOY SHEIKH
Lisbet Raine felt smothered by her ex-lover, Jafar al Hamzeh, and after leaving him she thought she would never see him again. But then while filming in his homeland, he sweeps her off her feet, literally. Jaf wants to convince Lisbet that he loves her, but she’s sure she’ll be repeating her mother’s mistakes if she returns Jaf’s love. Soon, though, Lisbet must get close to Jaf again to help prevent a coup d’état. Will she be able to resist Jaf’s pull?

- Good Twist! 4

The Playboy Sheikh is another great twist! Unlike most books where the heroine says that she loves the hero to his face, we have the hero say that to the heroine's face. There is a lot of going back and forth on who side should we pick: The heroine, Lisbet had a right to be scared and break it off with Jaf because she saw the similar characteristics of Jaf when it came to gambling and overspending on ridiculous items like gold plated tire-things. I wouldn't want a guy like that. She does love him, though, enough to get involved in dangerous stuff. It was smart of her to tell Jaf about her visitor. It was brave of her to play along. I liked how she was able to confess her love for him. The hero: Jaf was one of the interesting characters. I liked how he told her upfront about how much he loved and kept trying to be with her. It was great when he decided to trust her and tell her the truth behind it all, which was really brave, as well as taking a knife for her. It was a good book.
