Kay begins to question her identity after sorting through her late mother's things and discovering that her name is similar to that of Kimberley, the daughter of the famous Endacott family who was kidnapped twenty-four years earlier. She then finds newspaper clippings detailing the kidnapping and an entry reading, "Kay came today," in her mother's diary… Unable to write it all off as coincidence, Kay reaches out to the missing Kimberley's grandfather, Charles, to find the truth. Unfortunately, his banking partner, Ben, convinces him that Kay is nothing but a fortune-seeking fraud!

I liked the early part of the story more than the love story. 3  3

I liked the part of the story where the female lead and the male lead didn't get along and also while they were out trying to find evidence that she was not Kimberly. However, the love story was not all that good in my eyes. The art was good and the earlier part of the story was good, that earned this harlequin 3 stars from me. Id say it's about average as far as harlequin's go

Beautiful K wants to find out her real identity but afraid to come into terms of the possibility that everything she knew was a lie. She comes asking the Endacott Patriarch to tell her otherwise. But then comes the stoic, handsome Ben. Sparks fly when their bodies touch. Yes they felt it and fought hard against it. A few days together , alone in search of K's real identity led them to fall for each other even more much to Ben's frustration. He just wanted to treat her as a sister. He fakes an engagement to keep her off and turn her away. Spend an entire month obsessing over how to keep suitors and potential mates away from the gorgeous red head. Must protect you from gold diggers he claims. Realizing his love for her asks for forgiveness. ..."Marry me Kay." In tears she agrees and made love. And so, they lived happily ever after.
