The story was a curious thing. We have a heroine who is using a stranger to pose as her fiancee. I couldn't understand of why wouldn't she ask a male friend but considering how she acts explains that she may not have a lot of male friends. The mother seemed different from how the heroine and her friend described. Her clothes looked like a gold digger but her attitude came off as a sweet old woman. Still, I didn't let my guard down because this would be her fourth marriage. The heroine was hot and cold on the defense. She was really defensive towards the hero with her walls up but her thinking gave away that she was insecure. The mother's fiancee's daughter was something. Her attitude was mean but I liked how the hero knocked her off her feet. What piqued my curiosity was the exchange of words between the fiancee and the hero of what they're goals are. The fiancee seems like he wants to protect the heroine but the hero said some interesting things. I found it funny that the mother knew that the heroine had brought an escort. Then the hero got pulled in by the evil woman. I did like how he resisted her with ease. The hero didn't see that part and thinks that he lied. After that, the heroine, hero, and bad woman go out shopping and after splitting off from the bad woman. The hero confesses that he wants the heroine. It was pretty quick. They go back to the car to find that the bad woman took as payback and that the hero left his driver's license in the glove compartment. Who does that, doesn't the hero have a wallet? What surprises me next is that the heroine doesn't notice the little things about the hero. For example, she doesn't question him on how he has a platinum card, being able to pay for a one night in a suite at a fancy hotel, nor the fact of paying for an expensive looking dress and dinner. To me, it would have been very suspicious. The heroine, doesn't ponder. Everything seems to be going alright for the heroine and hero till the bad woman comes in with new information about the hero. The heroine goes off in tears for feeling used. The hero explains why he did it but the heroine doesn't want to hear anymore. The next thing that made me curious was that the heroine's mother went to talk with the hero and learned that the hero does love her daughter. I loved the interaction between the mother and her fiancee on what happened. It was very sweet. It was funny to watch the bad woman learn the truth. I loved how the heroine decided to take the step and go after the hero. The ending was adorable.
