I ended up really enjoying this one quite a bit. Both leads were kinda fake and placed too much importance on their families past, but having them both mature and grow throughout the manga was what made this manga such a good read for me. The only thing that upset me was that the female lead couldn't even hear her mom out at all until Max (The male lead) basically forced her to listen with an open mind. Why did it take a love interest's interference to try to understand her own mother or give her a cautious second chance? Other than that though, the manga was excellent. The art was great and the story was also really good. I'd suggest this one to any harlequin manga fan and would happily read it again sometime.
