I ended up enjoying this manga. It had two stories within it and both were pretty good. I thought it was cool that the 2nd story was based in Wisconsin primarily since I am a native of WI. I had mixed feelings about the female lead in the second story though. On one side I liked her fighting spirit, her blunt honesty, and her desire to pave her own way. However, she also speaks self deprecatingly and has a poor me attitude sometimes which irritates me. For example she puts on ugly clothes after she kissed the male lead the night before because he didn't respond to the kiss in the way that she had hoped for. When he asks her why she dressed like that she says a sob story about her wearing hand me down clothes when she was younger and tells him that the clothes are right for her cause it's what a poor and ugly woman like her should wear... I find the grappling for pity attention irritating but also odd considering how strong her personality is otherwise. Overall, both the first and second stories were good and fun to read.
