Widowed at thirty-three, Lord Harold Alistair Cliffton has no desire to remarry. However, it’s his duty as master of Springfield Manor to provide an heir to preserve the Harcourt family line. When Harold discovers young William, a distant relative who could serve as his heir, he travels to Australia… where fate takes a surprising twist, and Harold becomes a butler for William’s mother, Ashley! While on his mission to convince Ashley and William to return to England with him, Ashley and Harold find themselves falling in love… but where will this romance lead after Ashley discovers Harold’s true identity?
It found it a fun and new plot that did hold mischief and a bit of forming the bond between the hero and heroine. The hero and heroine were pretty interesting, one being a baron whose heart is still broken over his beloved dead wife and a single and working mom who tries to give the best life she can possible give to her son. I like how the hero helps the heroine fight in her battles like that horrible client and the gossipy PTA. It was a some tension when she found out the truth about the hero's true identity. However, the ending was really nice.
