Everything was instant. Its kinda absurd. 2  2

Too bad. I wanted to like this story. The two leads seems very amiable but everything turn cliche and ridiculous after he shows her the store. They helped Jared's sister plan and prepare her wedding for 2 weeks, they see each other often and so on and next thing you know, he could easily come at her place, finds her painting her wall and storming out of her bestfriend a few days before the wedding then Jared proposes to her and maneuvering the estate deal just for this random girl who seems like shes in her own world. Wanting to adopt but not wanting a husband, bread is life, pastry is love motto going on. I really wanted to like her but she got really annoying. And Jared seems rather pathetic and desperate which is a total turn off. He tells her he will drop everything just to be with her including new york... To a girl he just met 2 weeks ago!!! I dont know.. its ridic. So unrealistic.

... what the heck. Did I misunderstand something? How could the lead female presume that just because the lead male had bought a property to fix up and showed it to her that he would just give it to her? Did she make a bid on it? I didn't seem to see that part of the story... or was she only willing to marry him if he gave her the property. That's awfully crappy of her. I mean... I have yet to have found a woman who a harlequin story tries to paint in such a innocent victimized light as her and then have her expect so much materialistically just to allow him to be with her. Guess she didn't really care too much about him. Her damsel in distress crap when she found out it was possibly sold to someone when she presumptuously though the expensive property would be just handed over to her pissed me off. I won't read this one again.
