WEDDING AT WHITE SANDS
When a young boy comes to her saying someone is trying to kill his dad, a surprised Allie, private investigator, decides to meet his father, Jake, to look into the matter. Allie gapes when she meets him—he has shiny blond hair, an athletic form and sensual amber eyes. She tries not to be mesmerized by his charm, telling herself that this is just a job. But the moment she opens her mouth, Jake icily tells her to get out of his office.

I liked this book for many reasons. First, the heroine is an investigator, 2) I loved ho she handled the hero's little boy, I mean it's smart to walk a child back him & not take him in the car to drive home. You will love the hero's son's missing teeth smile, it's too adorable for words. I loved the plot and how it all goes. Their first meeting was energetic, I loved the interaction between father and son. I found the heroine's stunt of planing a good kiss on the hero, in order to stay at the hotel hilarious. I love the interaction between the when they are talking, fighting, and working together. I also love that they helped each other get over their problems and past traumas. I liked the church vows, that was good and sweet. It was even better when finding out that the heroine is trained in self defense. Self defense is important for everyone. I loved that the hero and heroine don't get physical but that they try to understand each other first. The ending was fabulous when the hero says that he will wait for the heroine to finish the police academy to propose to her. It was a great story of the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
