MAID FOR THE SINGLE DAD
Ellie, an orphan, becomes a live-in nanny and maid for Mac, a millionaire who owns an international hotel chain. Her luxurious room in his castle-like estate was something she expected, but plenty of mysteries abound. His wife isn’t around, he keeps the children on a rigorously strict schedule, and he doesn’t allow them outside. But then, Ellie was raised in an orphanage, so she really has no idea what a normal life is supposed to look like. Like someone drawing open the curtains in a neglected room, her innately cheerful nature brings new light into Mac’s house. Maybe that’s why one day the formerly arrogant Mac suddenly pulls Ellie in for a sweet kiss!

It was a cute story about a nanny/housekeeper falling in love with her boss. One would think that he's a bit of a control freak with whenever he is over, she does everything with the kids and won't allow the nanny to do anything. Yet, it's not a bad thing because he wants to be involved with the diaper-changing and everything. Not to mention that the children's mother who has left is a famous actress and he doesn't want the children to be submitted to the paparazzi's antics, I don't blame him for it personally. Yet, keeping the kids shut away is not good for their health both physical and mental. The heroine has come off the street and escaped an abusive relationship to a better career. I like how the hero and heroine interact about cooking, kids, and more. It was enjoyable to read but I was quite ticked at the ex-wife for making up such a lie and trying to take the kids away from a loving father. Then the heroine's face gets put in pictures and tv where her once boss then abuser finds where she is. Luckily, the hero swoops in to save the day and we have a cute ending.
