The Marriage Debt 2

In order to have her family's debt absolved, Catherine marries a man who was made to seem like a criminal. On the one-night honeymoon allowed them within the prison confines, she convinces him to tell her the truth. The truth is that he had been set up and was innocent of the charges brought against him. Believing his sincere manner, she sets out to find the true culprit of the crime and manages to do so, just in the nick of time, thereby saving Nick from execution. Unfortunately, this also means that her family's debt remains intact since her death-row inmate was pardoned. Furthermore, it turns out that Jack's the son (disowned) of a distinguished noble family. As his wife and still the holder of a large debt, she takes it upon herself to contact her husband's family for help. What will their reaction be...?

The heroine is the saviour part 2 5  5

For the second book, I totally agree with Maya4e. I love how our couple learns more about each other. The heroine really shows backbone when she defends the hero against his stubborn father. I loved reading the struggles of the both the hero and heroine on how to deal with their relationship. It's so good and fun. I love the hero's brother because A) he's not the heroine's brother. B) he doesn't throw money around C) he's been nothing more than a gentleman to the heroine. I liked how when the heroine leaves because she cares about the hero's reputation that the hero goes after her and comes in at the right moment. I also think one of my favorite parts is when the hero and the heroine's brother finally meet. I enjoy how the hero isn't going to pay the brother's debts but give him a taste of what happens when you doesn't pay your debts (debtor's prison). The ending was great and it's a book definitely worth reading.

Gorgeous! 5  5

Just... gorgeous! I'm fond of this book (...actually, there are two volumes): it makes me almost live the same feelings of the main couple. I usually like historical romances, but this is one of my favourite ones! This love is so deep and intense that... it deserves you enjoy this story, too! ❤️
