I felt there was a lacking element in the whole story that coincides with the movie of "how to lose a guy in 10 days". The heroine doesn't want to get married and neither does the hero. So, they decide to approach the matter in two very different methods. The story felt it was more like relearning each other and getting an audio biography of their lives since they were separated as kids rather than as a romance. I mean the ending with the hero's confession was nice but I felt that there could have been more romance instead each other lying to each other for most of the novel. I also didn't like the heroine's thoughts that because she can't have children means she can't be a mother. You can adopt a kid and slowly become a mother since there are billions of kids in the world who need a mother like her. I think her problem stems from not having the kids but finding a man who will love her and accept her and the idea of not biologically fathering children. Plus, what kind of infection caused the heroine to become infertile? Is it in the womb or not? I read through the whole thing with no judgement but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
