The Fierce and Tender Sheikh

Hani is a young girl living a rough life at the Burry Hill Detention Centre in Australia. She has been living as a boy for her own safety and protection, but she has had a mysterious yet beautiful reoccurring dream of living in a gorgeous palace surrounded by roses with her family. She thinks that such a dream is foolish, but then one day a man named Sharif appears; he claims that he is a diplomat from Bagestan, and that he has been sent to find Hani on orders from the sultan. She can barely believe the words she hears from him: “Your real name is Princess Shakira.”

The hero has been on a long search for the lost royal children during a coup de tact decades ago. He has just found the heroine who's been lived her life hiding her gender since she was told to as a child. Even the hero didn't know she was a girl till he figured out and found the lost princess right in front of him. He brings her back but she struggles with a life of luxury after living in squalor. Then he leaves for a month and comes back to see the heroine is working her hardest in adapting to her new way of life and learning everything she should have learned over the years. Unfortunately, the hero separates himself from the heroine based on the servant vs. noble custom. She rants to him about her loss of identity and people telling her to be boy then stop and be a princess. It's so hard for her to wrap her brain around. The hero does better later with how the boy part of her taught her to survive that has garnered a lot of respect from the people around. Then he takes her to her old crumbling home and meets the last person who saw her brother. Then the hero reveals that he's been searching for the brother too. He also states that the feelings he holds for reside as love but he can't love her because he's a servant and she's a princess. Things turn for the better when the heroine's brother appears well and a large supporter of turning their home as a place for refugees. The heroine reveals what happened between her and the hero to the brother who goes to scold the hero. He also tells the hero that the heroine is speaking before the sultan to accept her relationship with the hero. He denies it but the hero comes in to state his love. So, the sultan accepts it since it was a test to see if they would fight for each other. We have a happy ending with the two finally kissing each other.
