What a delicious combination we have in a harlequin comic. So, we have a royal family who's trying to help their family heal from the recent war that tore it apart. One of the princes (a hero) comes across an amnesiac woman who's pregnant and carries a paper with strange writing on it. I love how it gives a mystery with the whole spy thing playing in since the hero's family is still being targeted by their enemies. The hero still takes in the heroine because he feels a sense of peace that by helping her, he is able to numb the pain of not saving his friend and his friend's pregnant lover during the war. However, the heroine seems to make a good impression on the family with not only her skills in cooking but in anything chocolate. Then we have the final confrontation and we learns the heroine is the daughter of a famous chocolatier. However, she was seduced by a jerk who took over the company and stole the rights. She ran away with secret recipe (paper with the strange writing) but the man caught her and hit her, causing her to lose her memories. The heroine decided after regaining her memories that since running away won't work and she's gone to confront the jerk. Not the smartest decision because even when she was armed with a knife, he still got it out of her hands but the hero comes in to save the day. The heroine before declares that the hero is the baby's father and not the creep and funnily enough, the hero does the same. When the two are alone, the hero and heroine open up to each other about their past with all the hard parts. The hero asks the heroine to marry him because he can't live without her. It's a happy ending for our two lovebirds and I rather enjoyed it.
