Mr. Valentine

Krysta’s old friend Jack has a secret to tell her: he wrote a book, and he’s getting published! Never did she imagine her timid friend might have an ambitious side. What’s more, Jack’s book is a sweet romance novel, and he’s pretending to be a female author. His publishers want “her” to come down to see them, so he begs Krystal to appear in his place. Thus begins Krystal’s first trip to New York, her first television appearance—and her first time in a luxurious hotel, alone with Jack!

The hero and heroine in the story are different than in other Harlequin stories. They are coworkers and heroine is seeing the head of a department. Hero likes heroine but he doesn't say it to heroine. And the most different thing is that hero is writing novels, romance novels. Once his work won the prize and might get published however he doesn't want to show off as he thinks men couldn't write a romance novel. So he asked heroine to pretend as him and talk to the publisher. The artwork is not really special however I personally love the small faces artist draw.
