After one little slip of the tongue, Tiffany finds herself in quite the bind. A rumor spreads that she is engaged to Ben Maxwell, an airline captain. In order to avoid losing face, Ben suggests they play along and pretend to actually be engaged. Soon that isn't enough—they have to officially get married, even if it's only temporary. During this whole ordeal, Tiffany feels a whirlwind of emotions—guilt for having a rumor go so out of hand, frustration while having to deal with Ben’s constant judgmental remarks, and eventually a strange attraction to him, as well. But their marriage is nothing but a ploy to save Ben’s image and salvage his pride...or is it? Could that really be all it meant to him?

A sweet and funny love story, I could tell that Hero and Heroine are attracted to each other but didn't have the chance for more interactions. The engagement rumour creates a perfect situation for their relationship to work out.

Pilots are always a thrill to read about. The illustrations were absolutely lovely. The hero and heroine were beautifully crafted for this story. I wish the story had not ended! Tiffany has a spot of bad luck in the boyfriend department, but she's professional as can be, but not enough according to Ben. He seems to hate her and critic he every move. Circumstances however make them pretend to be a fake couple and they move in together, get married and go on a fake honeymoon. That's when things snowball between them. A couple of misunderstandings between them causes Ben to get jealous and upset with Tiffany. A near miss tragedy sorts things out and makes them realise what they truly want - each other. This was a sweet, loving and easy story to read to bring your spirits up. Would recommend reading this when you're feelinga little down.
