HERS FOR A NIGHT
Lucas may be fast in all aspects of life. On the race track, he’s an amazing driver, but when it comes to women, he’s rumored to run through them like crazy. When Georgia buys twenty-four hours with Lucas at a charity auction, she just wants to use him to make an impression on her father. But she may find out that she can’t keep up with Lucas's fast-moving heart…or might just want to go along for the ride.

- multiple goals 3

The heroine has two goals at the moment that involves the hero: use him as an escort at her father's party because the stubborn old egg head thinks the heroine's career is a hobby and to even make him remotely happy is to have a man beside her (or in his vision, in front of her) and the heroine wants to get revenge on the hero for using her friend in a one night stand. I have to say that I was impressed with the hero defending the heroine and her job against the grumpy father. The heroine tries to put the hero in the same category as the father but as she gets to learn more about him, she can't see him in that way anymore and finds herself falling in love with him. They spend a night together that goes against her latter goal. She starts to get close to the heroine till he mentions that he can't be late for a party and mention a female's name. The heroine thinks t's one of the many women he's seeing and breaks their relationship right then and there. Later, she talks with the friend who confesses that she lied about the whole thing and the heroine is left feeling shame for her biased view of the hero when he was so much more. Then she runs into one of the heroine's friends and learns the female's name is the name of the hero's godchild. She's encouraged by the heroine to go after the hero. When he opens the door, the heroine admits her faults in believing the gossip over getting to know the hero for himself. She confesses her love and the hero pulls her in for a hug. The hero confesses his love for the heroine as well and they make a start on spending the rest of their lives together.
