The heroine was in love with the hero till four years ago on the night her father had a heart attack did she discover the hero and her father's much younger wife were hugging each other. Personally, it wouldn't look so bad if the woman wasn't in some sexy negligee. The next morning, the father dies and she believes that both her father and her were betrayed by two people they care about. So, she lies to the hero about having a miscarriage and never sees him again. After four years, she gets a shock to discover him at a business lecture and a greater shock to see him in front of her hotel door. After some pressure, she goes to dinner with him and but she has intercourse with him despite hating him. Later, he reveals to the heroin that not only has he been looking for her since she left him but when he found her, he planned whole seminar just to see her. He even knows about the little girl the heroine has hidden from him and even send her his spy to become the little girl's new nanny. The heroine is shocked and frightened by the news and the promises of the hero taking the little girl away, she agrees to his marriage proposal. They seem to be making headway but when the heroine goes to the bathroom at the restaurant and catches the hero with the father's widow and she kisses him on the cheek. the heroine goes back to her first theory and distrusts the hero who finds her words of distrust hurting him horribly. He calls the heroine out, explaining what really happened that night four years ago and what happened not more than a few hours was nothing more than a relationship between friends but since the heroine can't trust him, he'll send her back stay out of the heroine's way. The heroine hugs the hero from behind, apologizes for everything, and how she let her jealousy and fear blind her from the truth. She confesses her love for the hero and confesses to her about how he would kept searching her no matter what. We skip to where the two are introducing the hero to the little girl then the wedding and they get their happily ever after.
