THE LAST DE BURGH 1
In order to find out what happened to her twin brother, Emery Montbard disguises herself as a man and gains the help of the honorable knight Nicholas de Burgh. They agree that a conspiracy may be behind the disappearance of Emery’s brother, but that’s not the only thing troubling Nicholas—while on his quest, he finds himself oddly attracted to Emery, despite his belief that she’s a man. While Emery tries to hide her secret, Nicholas hides a secret of his own, one that may very well hinder his chances at ever finding love. What will become of these two? And will they succeed in bringing down the conspiracy?

- adventure and romance 5

I really liked the beginning of this tale because of the mystery surrounding the hero's brother and the reason of why he has disappeared and being pursued. I like how the heroine just cuts her hair off in order to follow her brother with no one questioning her. It's quite scandalous, since cutting a woman's hair was considered a big no-no. I also like that how it's the hero's servant knew of the heroine's true gender but it took a little touching for the hero to realize, the scene was funny. There's a lot of hidden passageways and of course dead bodies like the heroine's horrible uncle for taking away what was rightfully her brother's and hers. If one likes the medieval times romance then this would be the one.
