In this comic, we have two different perspective on fighting between partners who have been dating for under a year and partners who have been married thirty years. The hero and heroine are in a relationship but the heroine wants to go deeper into their relationship, the hero holds back. It takes a bad morning from calls from fighting parents, missing an important client call because parents wouldn't leave the work phone off, to finding out the hero didn't send the flowers on valentine's day to call it quits on both job and relationship with the hero. She drives off, leaving the hero with her resignation letter who finally sees what he's losing and goes after her. Now, he is what I liked is the hero working his way back to gain the heroine's trust. He helps her in bringing back her parents back together from their fight, lifting a heavy load off the heroine's shoulders. Yet, when they're going one step further into their relationship, a rival comes up and reveals himself as the flower guy and tells lies to the hero of his "relationship" with the heroine. Sadly, the hero goes off in anger and leaves the heroine to deal with the scheming weasel. The heroine has him thrown out but is smart enough to figure out how he knew everything even about her resignation that she had written up that morning with only a handful people could have known. She goes with her evidence to the hero and he realizes his error and apologizes. Then the two of them quit and the hero reveals his cool behavior to both his past and now current relationship with the heroine. Apparently, the last woman he wanted to marry couldn't even look at his mother who had burn scars all one on side of her face and the experience made him sworn off serious relationships. The hero takes the heroine to meet his mother and it goes wonderfully. The two of them are able to connect and it brings a smile to the hero's face. We have the ending of the heroine and hero getting married and I enjoyed reading this comic.
