ANGELS AND ELVES
Fantasy novelist Jillian Jones-Jenkins always stays in the house. She hasn’t had a single romantic encounter in the past thirty years, and she’s never been in love. Her friend Andrea is worried about her and assigns her brother Forrest as a “trial horse” so Jillian can find out what love is like. Jillian is a dreamer, who always lives in a fantasy, while Forrest is an A-list celebrity and a realist. They live in very different worlds. But that isn’t the only problem—Jillian has yet to find out that her romantic meeting with Forrest was all a setup!

The heroine is a fantasy writer who became after her parents died in a car accident as they were going to get a divorce. Her books have become a smash hit but she barely goes to the outside world and has few friends. Her friend has her brother go out and help her break out of her shell. The heroine doesn't take so well to their first encounter and neither does the hero who ends up with a red cheek. There are a bit of rough patches but they manage to find a common ground when the hero sees that one of the castles in the heroine's book matches the one that he made as a kid. So, they work together to make a miniature castle with all the trees and everything. Slowly, the heroine starts to break out of her shell and even goes to a party they were invited to at his place. Then the hero gets drunk and says the wrong thing to the heroine who shuts him out of her life. The hero is able to get her back with his cardboard crown and cloak and they work together to save the sister/friend from a frightening situation. After that, we have fantasy themed wedding that has the heroine asleep because she has been up the lat few nights writing and meeting the deadline of her new book. It's really a funny one.
