In the spanish christmas, it's a whirlwind romance in two days of a pair of people meet for the first time, have a close encounter, and the hero suddenly propose to the heroine. I wasn't much for it, in fact, I was more focused on the idiot who didn't know how to properly secure a gun. When you hold a gun( even if it's an air gun), you don't point up close to your head, nor let a child handle without being right next to the child with your hands on the gun. If you want more proof then if you go to page 36, the hero gets shot accidentally by his nephews because they had the idiot's gun. The idiot didn't even properly put it away for safety. Short summary is the heroine takes the hero to the hospital but they can't get back, so they stay at a employee's apartment. Unfortunately, getting shot in the shoulder and having the aunt's nurse stay with you overnight to make you take your medication is not enough for the family protocol of unmarried singles of the opposite sex stay together overnight alone. What I couldn't believe is that it was the idiot who made the accusation. Well, guess what?! You say you can't be blamed but the only reason they were in that situation is because you are the owner of the gun, didn't handle properly, and have it safely secured from people who don't know how to handle a gun like children. Oh what am I saying, he didn't know how to handle it! So, the hero professes his intent to marry the heroine and it ends with the family tradition of the bride eating grapes. I wished there was more of a build up. To the story of the Blind date, we have the usual once bitten and twice shy heroine with the "playboy" hero. The heroine hesitates at forming a relationship at first, things get hot. The two separate for two months and it only cools the heroine for a little bit but being back in the hero's arms takes them get kindle that hot romance. However, the heroine finds herself to be pregnant and goes straight from Australia to Los Angeles to see the hero and notify him of her pregnancy. Sadly, the hero is so happy to see her and tell what has been going on that she doesn't get a word in till he reveals that he doesn't want any kids. It pushes the heroine to leave but she suffers a miscarriage and how it's the hero finds out about the heroine's pregnancy. The hero and heroine start to separate at the heroine's request but the hero opens up about how he wants to marry her because she is the only woman who makes him consider marriage. Yet, the heroine rejects his advances and leaves. I love how the hero showed the heroine of just how important she is in his life and I liked the ending.
