The hero and heroine are in an arranged marriage that the heroine wants to get out of and makes a statement by leaving her home in South America for Paris to be a Tango teacher. It felt exotic and she's managed to support herself on her teacher's salary for three years. Now, the hero has come to take her home to be wed because his side of business wants to see him married. He tells the heroine is she doesn't wed then the family money owed won't be given to the heroine's parents who are knee deep in debt. The woman is backed into a corner and consents to the marriage. The first few weeks of their marriage is rocky with some things opening up about their past like the heroine's cold parents to the hero's abusive dad. Then they meet the heroine's ex-OW who left him for another man during their engagement when he nearly lost everything. She pulls the usual, "I'm the alpha female" spiel but the heroine remains cool. Our main couple start to connect then the hero has a fit when he gets pictures of the heroine meeting a man, which could embarrass him and lose a business deal. The heroine scolds him, tells him the man was a real estate agent for her dream to open a dance studio, and she tried to inform him of her plan that early morning. Their relationship is on the rocks till the hero helps advertise the heroine's plans to the wealthy clients and clears the misunderstanding of the picture. This impresses the heroine who sees the hero in a different light. They are able to connect but have one more obstacle to go through before declaring their love for each and I liked how it went. It was a good comic to rent.
