FIRST COMES LOVE

Tess Monahan grew up surrounded and protected by her five brothers, and her current life has nothing to do with romance. Still, when she almost collapses on stage while being awarded the “Teacher of the Year” award at the school where she teaches, a coworker speculates that she must be pregnant. The rumor about her pregnancy spreads through town like wildfire even though she’s still a virgin! Her first love, Will, believes the rumor and offers a gentle, helping hand. But the way he looks at her has changed, and he’s stopped treating her like a child.

don't believe the horse's mouth 3  3

The storyline was interesting but it was pretty sad that everyone believed a rumor, despite the heroine telling them again and again she wasn't pregnant at all. I mean, her colleagues, friends, brothers, and the hero didn't take her word into account like it didn't matter. If there was a rumor about my siblings then I wouldn't just go and believe the rumor, I would go to my friend or sibling to ask them if it was true. If they said it wasn't then I would believe them. Then there's the fact that the heroine's friend blamed her for spilling about her husband's past to the town when it was the heroine's nasty colleague who always had to best the heroine. I think one of the best things was seeing her scared out of her mind when the friend's husband came barging in with his semi truck.

not sure about this one 2  2

The big issue I had with this was the town's people who believed in all the rumors spreading around. That Abigail was a big thorn and I hated that no one would believe Tess, not even her family. I liked the big reveal at the end but I'm not sure about the rest. If you really want to read this, I suggest just sticking to using points.
