The hero and heroine were in a relationship that ended sourly with the heroine rejecting the hero's marriage proposal on two things: 1) they come from different worlds and 2) she doesn't believe in love. This immensely hurts the hero who rejects the heroine's favor after five years of no communication. That favor being coming to his family home in the middle of nowhere as his way to throw off a stalker who has not only turned her attention to the heroine but to her recently orphaned little half brother. He rejects the heroine's request until he hears the phone call of the stalker and lists the conditions the heroine has to follow in order, which she does accordingly. Then they go to the great aunt's house and they start mending the broken bridge of their relationship. There are some bumps at first but they manage to find some common ground and grow closer and closer together. The heroine's past is revealed to the hero about her fiancee cheating on her and such. So, he asks the heroine about it and she tells him what happened with the fiancee and why she chose to be engaged to him in the first place. Later on, the heroine admits that she's in love with the hero but is found by the stalker. We have a fight break out between the heroine, hero, and the stalker. Luckily, they are able to stop the stalker from causing any more harm. The whole ordeal pushes the heroine to tell the hero of her true feelings for him that include the three words of "l love you." The hero is awed and joyful at the news that he hugs the heroine and admits his feelings of love for her. They hold each other and decide to get married as soon as possible. It was a decent story for me.
