A different style for harlequin comics with many fighting scenes and hero is the tough guy type instead of the clean rich guy you often get to see in Harlequin comics.

This was s a good one for me because it was stuck to the realism a situation of what can happen in the story, except for the part of where they suddenly decide to get married. Our main characters survive an ambush by a person close to the hero. The hero and heroine slowly work their way through the desert to get to allies. It gives a sense of thrill of dodging bullets and bandaging wounds. I also liked how we go back and forth between the hero and heroine to their antagonists; it really played smoothly along. There is a lot of blood, so if you're not into blood unless it has to do with a hospital or medical romance then I would suggest you think on it. The romance in this novel is more of a whirlwind romance but it goes rather well. I love the final battle and how it goes. The hero's proposal is rather a romantic one as well. In the end, I did enjoy reading this one and if you're okay with some grim scenes then this is definitely the book for you.
