- didn't feel too much romance 3

The heroine has been on the lookout for the man who protected and saved her when they were buried under construction rubble. During that time, his reasoning and support gave her the courage to end the engagement with her beau because he wasn't happy about her being pregnant. She ends it but it turns out she's still being pulled into the man's messes. Apparently, the man made a lot of bad deals that costed people a lot of money. He has disappeared and the others have turned their evil eyes on the heroine, despite the fact she ended the relationship months ago. Her father pressures her to get a security team and she complies only to meet them. It's where she meets the hero who happens to be head of the security firm. After clarifying a couple of things; the heroine rejects the hero's services till she walks out to find her tires slashed. Things actually go pretty quickly I didn't feel much of a romance anywhere. I might they go from hero being hired to heroine learning about his widower and single father status. Things keep escalating when the perpetrator breaks in to steal a photo to destroy it and sends it to the heroine's office. Then take a picture of the heroine when she's in a slow moving car with the hero's twin boys as they enjoy the Christmas lights. The hero doesn't say anything, he just leaves. This makes the heroine think that he doesn't want to be with her. It felt like she was saying there was more to their relationship but I never got the indication that there was something even going on. I got a lot of suspense but not romance. They find out the suspect is the son of the ex's landowners. He invested his parents' money into the man and is trying to get it all back. They catch the guy and go to mass the next morning where the hero proposes to the heroine and she accepts. There's the ending with them kissing as a black and white silhouette cut out and all. However, I didn't feel much romance from this story.
