I really liked reading this story. The hero and heroine once met because the hero's sister was school mates with the heroine. It has been around ten years since the hero and heroine met and a lot has happened since then. The hero took on more dangerous missions that took him away from his sister and basically lost track of her. The heroine ran away from her abusive husband that her mother arranged to marry at eighteen. The two of them have their issues and fears that they have to face in the book.I loved it how they spend time in the woods with the heroine's son. I love reading the hero teaching the little boy about bears and starting a fire. Just watching them bond was so sweet, same with how the hero and heroine bonding through talking under the stars. They push each other to confront their fears and issues. I loved the ending with the hero shoveling snow to make a path to their home. It was a such a good story and I enjoyed it immensely.
