While raising her daughter as a single parent, Dominique was stunned to discover that her daughter’s father, Ramon, had died in an accident. She feels sad even though he was the man who left her right after she told him about her pregnancy. That feeling, however, is soon replaced with anxiety. He was from a wealthy family in Spain. She wouldn’t know what to do if they were to take her daughter away. A few days later, Christiano, the head of the family, shows up at her doorstep. He embraces her as soon as he sees her and begs her to spend Christmas in Spain for the sake of his aunt, who wants to meet the daughter of her late son…

a simple but full of holiday love and cheer. 4  4

It's a very sweet and simple romance for our hero and heroine who are hurting over the ones they loved and lost. The hero goes to see the heroine when he finds out that his cousin had a baby girl and wishes to bring the heroine and daughter to Spain and meet the family. The heroine has been longing for love since the cousin ran away when she told that she was pregnant and when her mother told her to give up the baby. The hero is a real gentleman but maintains his distance because he feels responsible for his wife's death, despite the fact that it wasn't his fault. The heroine agrees and receives a warm welcome from the hero's mother and sister and his aunt who is the little girl's grandma. This is a short review compared to a lot of reviews that I have done because it's straightforward and enjoyable. The two of them start to fall in love with each other but still hesitate. They also start to heal each other and overcome the bounds of pain. I also loved how the hero interacted with the little girl and how much he cares for her. The hero and heroine confess their feelings to each other and get married. The heroine is even able to mend her bond with her mother who was looking out for her in her best interests. It was definitely a book worth reading.
