HIS BRAND OF PASSION
A story by USA Today bestselling author becomes a comic!
He ruined the memory of a wonderful evening with his hurtful proposition…
Zoe frowned at Aaron upon seeing his rude behavior at her sister’s wedding. Did he think he could do anything at all just because he’s a multimillionaire? Zoe tried to teach Aaron a lesson, but she ultimately lost herself to his charm and ended up in his bed! It was supposed to be just another memory until she realized she was pregnant. When Aaron learned about it, he asked Zoe to give up their baby. Shocked at the suggestion, Zoe left…but Aaron decided to follow her.
About the Author
Kate Hewitt has worked a variety of different jobs, from drama teacher to editorial assistant to youth worker, but writing romance is the best one yet. She also writes women's fiction and all her stories celebrate the healing and redemptive power of love. Kate lives in a tiny village in the English Cotswolds with her husband, five children, and an overly affectionate Golden Retriever.

The hero and heroine are in-laws meeting for the first time at their siblings' wedding. The heroine is disgruntled by the hero's attachment to his phone and decides to teach him a little lesson by keeping it off his hands. She's unable to hold back her accomplishment to him and puts his phone in her chest area. Then here comes her first place: she went somewhere private. If she wanted hold onto the phone without having him make a scene then she should have stayed in public view but the hero catches her in the bathroom alone. He gets his phone but he wants the heroine now and they share a passionate night. They don't see each other again till the heroine calls to let him know that he's going to be a father. The shock makes him say horrible things like abortion and it puts the heroine off. She leaves him angrily but runs into him again at her apartment. The hero apologizes for his words, explaining that he was shocked by the news that he said the wrong things. Then he persuades the heroine to live with him since the work and her apartment are putting it hard on her body. So, they spend time eating dinner, talking, and growing closer and closer. The hero wants the heroine permanently in his life but doesn't know if he loves her because he doesn't know how to love. The hero spent so much of his life working to save his company that by the time it was back in black, he didn't know how to do anything except work. The heroine asks for some time to think over his proposal but before she can give him an answer, she has a miscarriage. In fact, the fertilized egg was stuck in one of her fallopian tubes, causing it to burst. If you add that with an incident she had as a child, her chances of getting pregnant of dramatically decreased. The whole thing has the hero comforting the heroine ( I found it to be quite sweet) and reveal his past as written above. They confess their love for each other but the heroine doesn't want to hold the hero back since she's unable to have children. So, she leaves but he comes right back for her, stating that she hadn't given him an answer to his proposal. He had a beautiful confession and wouldn't even answer his phone. The heroine states that she loves him as well and says yes to his proposal. We fast forward three years into the future, the heroine and hero are married and at the baptism of their child. It's a happy event since they tried for a child after four IVF tries. It's really a nice romance.
