OLIVERO'S OUTRAGEOUS PROPOSAL
She was being fought over by two half brothers who hated each other!
Two men are glaring at each other from either side of Alyse. One is Marcus, a business tycoon’s son who’s been persistently pressing her to marry him. The other is Dario, a handsome man of provocative charms whom she just met at a ball. Alyse thought dancing with Dario would make Marcus stop pursuing her. But she had no idea Marcus and Dario were half brothers. And now these two half brothers—embroiled in a feud over family inheritance—are both chasing her as if she were a prize to be won instead of a woman to be loved.
About the Author
Kate Walker was always making up stories. She can't remember a time when she wasn't scribbling away at something and wrote her first “book” when she was eleven. She went to Aberystwyth University, met her future husband and after three years of being a full-time housewife and mother she turned to her old love of writing. Mills & Boon accepted a novel after two attempts, and Kate has been writing ever since. Visit Kate at her website at: www.kate-walker.com

The poor heroine comes from a poor family who has a title that was been built upon from hundreds of years of aristocrats. Unfortunately, her title and poor status has caught the eye of her father's tyrannical and rich boss who sends his bratty son after the heroine. The heroine can see that the man is not the one she wants to tie the knot with. Then she meets the hero who not makes her feel hot but also protects her from the bratty son who turns out to be the hero's half brother. The hero is the mistress's son that not even the father acknowledged. I liked that the hero is up and front with the heroine of why her father is pressuring her to marry and why the bratty man is hassling her. The hero proposes that she marry him and she agrees to it after some thinking because of her father's embezzlement and it gets the bratty man off her back. I liked that the hero actually listened to the heroine's request of a nice and small wedding because some heroes just leave the heroine out of the wedding preparations. He even found the whole wedding at the small chapel to be beautiful from his grand and gorgeous wedding. They go on a honeymoon to a home that none of the hero's past ladies have ever been to. They spend time together and become close to the point of actually falling in love. However, the heroine finds a letter from hero's father that he discarded but she doesn't believe him, if he has a child before the half brother then the father will give him the family company. The heroine leaves and the hero tries to contact her and I liked how he went in his final approach to get the heroine back. It's a wonderful ending and I did enjoy it.
