The heroine is given the shock of her life when she's given a letter from a man who claims to be her biological father. To her, it explains why her father and brothers were so distant. She rejects anything to do with the hero who's BF's lawyer. Then confronts her father who's kept her out of the family business as well as being distant with her when she's tried so hard to please him. Feeling the loss of identity, she goes to visit her other family members. It's the same as all new family members from out of the closet. She's not so welcomed by her newfound brothers but is by her newfound sister. Along with the sister, the hero helps her too in putting another perspective with family issues and why some things like her older brother didn't play with her much wasn't because she wasn't legitimate but they were really older guys. Then they fall strongly in love. Yet, the hero is still holding himself to the birth father's rule of no fraternizing between staff and family members. He tells the heroine and it breaks her heart but she keeps on working till she decides to take a chance by opening herself to the hero. They DO it but it he reveals his confusion and it sets the heroine off. She leaves him and goes back home to have a sit down with her father. He reveals he become a work-alcoholic who neglected his wife so badly that it was no wonder she fell for the emotional support the heroine's biological father provided. It was only afterwards, he realized his mistake and wanted them to be together even when she tried to divorce him after finding out she was pregnant with the hero. He states he loved the heroine since the moment she was born but was clumsy in how to show it. Nor did he want her a part of his company where the paparazzi are always at the gates sniffing for a scandal where they could hurt the heroine by revealing her true paternity. They are able to rebuild their bond stronger than ever. Then the heroine relates her romance problem to her father and he tells her to go for it. During this time, the hero finds himself in love with her and doesn't want to go another day without her. He sends in his resignation letter then goes off to find the heroine. They run into each other at the airport where they open their hearts and confess their love. The two go back to the CEO where he accepts the hero's resignation then rehires since he's the boss now with the rules. It was a nice ending.
